John Harlow 1911 – 2007


Died at CHUL on Friday, September 28, 2007, at the age of 96, Mr John (\"Jack\") Harlow, following a period of rapidly deteriorating health. He was the beloved husband of Gwen Harlow (née Phillips) and a well-known figure in Québec City’s anglo community. He taught for 26 years at Québec High School, primarily in mathematics. He was a graduate of Mount Alison and Columbia universities, and taught at and was principal of several schools in Nova Scotia before coming to Québec City in 1945. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gwen, his two daughters: Jean and Ann; his son Robert and his three grandchildren: Michael, Jeremy and Caitlin.
