James Edward Drody 1923 – 2009


Died peacefully at the Foyer des Vétérans (CHUL) in Quebec City, on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the age of 86, Mr James Edward Drody. He was the beloved husband of Pakita Boily and lived his professional life in Montreal. He was a Veteran of WW2 in the RCAF and was honourabily released with the rank of Flying Officer, and  in 1951, he graduated from McGill University with the degree of Bachelor of Civil Law. A funeral service will be held on September, 12, 2009, in Douglastown (Gaspé) where he was born. He leaves to be mourn his wife Pakita Boily; his brothers and sisters: Ivan (Ann David), Sr Regina (Holy Rosary), Ernest (Iona Rehel) and Eva (Laurent Chicoine);  his sisters-in-law and his brothers-in-law:  Bastianne (Pierre Koster), Linda (Pierre Fadous) and Grace (Michel Gendron) and many nephews, nieces and relatives. He was predeceased by his two sisters: late Verna (late Paul Champagne), late Frances (late Donald Cooper) and by his sister-in-law late Suzanne (late Jean-Luc Tremblay. A special thanks to the staff of the Foyer des Vétérans for their loving cares.
