Peacefully at the Hull hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 8th, 2019 at the age of 77. Son of the late Cecil Powers and the late Mary Porteous. He leaves behind his children: Steven (Tracy) and Kevin, his 2 granddaughters Lindsay and Kaitlyn as well as his beloved companion Stella. He leaves many relatives, friends as well as his fur babies Marley and Tipou.
Memorial visitations will take place on Sunday September 15th, 2019, from 1pm to 5pm, at the Harmonia funeral home located at 185, Maloney O. Blvd in Gatineau.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff and the emergency staff of the Hull hospital for the care provided. The family would also like to thank Dr. Ruben for the excellent care and compassion given toward Donald and his family
